Variable Voltage
Click the fire button 3 times to adjust voltage settings. Hive 2.0 battery has three (3) variable voltage power settings that give vapers the opportunity to adjust their vaping experience to suit whatever concentrates they are trying to vape. You can tell what power setting you are on by how many of the three (3) blue lights are illuminated on the vaporizer with one (1) blue light being the lowest and three (3) being the highest.
Oil Vape Cartridge
Included in the Hive 2 kit is 1ml vape cartridge for e-liquid or oil. It is recommended by Yocan not to fillup the cartridge more than 0.8ml. Powerful cart with ceramic heater suitable for classic nicotine e-juice as well as essential oils. Your 510 thread cartridge is visible through a built-in window so you can always check a level of your oil contents.
Yocan Hive 2.0 Coil
The wax atomizer (cartridge) carries the single quartz heating coil. The slim wax cartridge design lets the vaper slide the vaporizer comfortably into their pocket. If you are looking for a classy-looking vape that won’t leak and is powerful enough to vape whatever you have in your 510 cartridges (e-liquid, weed oil, or wax concentrate), then the Yocan Hive 2.0 is an excellent choice for both oil and dab concentrate.

The Yocan Hive 2.0 vaporizer is a double fold 2.0 version. First and foremost it is a great improvement over the first generation Yocan Hive and also has a 2-in-1 functionality where it can not only power up prefilled oil cartridges but also comes with a smooth and functional wax adapter allowing you to vape your favorite concentrates whether it is an oil or wax/dab.
So let's discuss some of the improvements made from the original Hive to the 2.0 which make this a true competitor in the concealer market. I would say the overall quality and feel of the unit have improved making it feel better in the hand and has to play into the unit's overall durability.
Hive 2.0 Battery
It has more power and capacity the battery was increased to over 600Mah of capacity and max output is over 4.0Volts meaning this pen is going to rip harder and last longer in between charges. One of the major setbacks of the original was it had a skinny opening and for a concealer, this is a critical feature as it determines the number of cartridges it is compatible with, the new version we are glad to report has a wider opening allowing it to accept a majority of the cartridges on the market. This is a concealer that uses a magnetic adapter to connect the cartridge to the base and we are glad to report the Hive 2.0 has a stronger connector allowing for better connection and lower resistance.
One of the greatest benefits of the Yocan Hive, no matter which version, is that it is a concealer meaning it hides the contents of what you are vaping and doesn’t expose that to the outside world. Both Yocan Hive versions were a nice small size so it can be completely hidden by the grasp of an average-sized hand. Adding the option of a wax adapter to this type of concealment is a big benefit as well and the adapter surprisingly outperforms some larger wax adapters and fits a good 3-4 rips with each fill. If you are on the market for a small concealer that has been improved and allows for you to vape wax as well as your favorite prefilled carts the Yocan Hive 2,0 is a serious contender with some cool colors.
