The main difference between V2 & V3 iMini battery is the way the MOD connects with the vape cartridge. Both iMini batteries are made for use with standard 510 thread cartridges, however, V3 uses a magnetic connector that screws with the cartridge and is then dropped into the MOD battery base. In version 2 battery you will screw the 510 thread cartridge directly to the battery base, without any connector. It may make a V2 iMini Battery more simplistic and convenient to use at first, but using magnet connector V3 MOD makes the setup more reliable, more leak-proof, and easier for the exchange of vape cartridge.
The iMini V3 MOD is a super portable, complete vape starter kit w/ several custom skin designs. The kit includes a ver. 3 iMini battery, 0.5ml 510 thread vape cartridge with a ceramic heater, and micro USB charging cable.
